A day in our routine at 'little stars'
8:00-9:00
Our early starters come in for thier breakfast - they sit down with their peers and have thier toast with a choice of milk or water.
9:00-10:00
Other Children start to arrive and they enjoy freeplay.
10:00-10:30
Snack table prepared for the children to enjoy some fresh fruit, cheese, cucumber, breadsticks or crackers, with a choice of milk or water.
Older children are able to self serve and pour thier own drinks.
10:30-11:30
Children enjoy an adult led activity/Messy play followed by outdoor activities in the garden (Weather dependent)
Nappy changes (3 hourly)
11:30-11:45
5 minute warning is called using a sound clacker, which is then followed by a big 5 minute sand timer to allow the children to visually see the remaining time until the next activity.
When the clacker is sounded again (After the sand timer has run out), Alexa plays the 'tidy up time' song and the children are prompted to help tidy up with the adults support.
11:45-12:00
Circle time/song time - before we sing our 'washing hands song' for lunch.
12:00-13:00
Luchtime - we allow the children to explore oral heallh after lunch with brushing thier teeth.
13:00-14:30
Children's nap time - older ones have time on ipad/calm activites or spend time in the garden.
14:00-15:00

free play with adult led activities in messy room or in the garden.
